I Was Wrong, and I Could Be Wrong Again

...and so, this becomes one of those "answering my last post" entries...

1) The show was... well, um, interesting. The attendance wasn't what it was supposed to've been, but the performances were good. And it gave me much joy to watch tim perform before a brand-new audience and be received well by it. There's much more to it than this, but it's probably best to wait for tim's version of it on typeshow (and by all means, buddy, don't hold back anything on my account -- we've already talked it all through, after all....)

2) Nothing really new to say about group/other mentioned church matters right now, except that we're gonna start test-running Season 4 of Growing Out next week. And that one's my favorite so far, so let's see what happens.

3) I'd post the re-new-again covers for Seasons 1-4, but they're not yet officially approved. But once it and the catalog they'll appear in are good to go, we'll run them here. At this point, I really kinda don't care. But Marion and Amy both say they're an improvement, so that works for me. And I finally have signed contracts for Seasons 5 & 6, some eight months after they were approved. :) And no, the schedule hasn't changed yet again in the past few weeks. :P

4) Retreat was good. Marion & I finally got to talk about some of those things I haven't wanted to talk about. Besides that, nothing big, just a few small tweaks to what I've been doing, and a nice time in a beautiful spot in Estes Park.

5) And the biggest new news right now is that the other living Envelope is coming back to town next week. Tha's right, boys and girls, Rick Neblung (this time with wife Karen, also a close friend back in the day, in tow) returns to Colorado for the better part of a week, and this time make their way up to Loveland for a day to do some sightseein' and prospectin'. So, another reunion. And "much to discuss" (which intrigues me to no end). This is a good thing, especially right now.

And there we have it. A bit more pedantic than usual, but that's where I'm at. Next time probably: Quiet Company and (at last) the new Sufjan Stevens. Toodles, posse!
